About the book Flamingo The textbook of English flamingo was introduced in class 12th by SCERT in 2019. Many of the English teachers find it difficult to teach this book's lesson. They find it uninteresting and lengthy. But if we understand the content of the book, then we will feel pleasure to read and teach this book. The whole book can be divided in four sections. Three short stories- The Last Lesson, The Rattrap and Going places are the part of the fiction which describes the different aspects of human nature. The first chapter of the book 'The Last Lesson' deals with the love for his language by a teacher who was giving his last lecture in the school. The readers often get confused about the title of the story. But the content of the lesson justifies with the title. The Rattrap is about the human goodness in trying circumstances.
