Salutation: Begin with “Dear” followed by the recipient’s title and last name. Body: Introduce the purpose of the letter in the opening paragraph. Provide specific information in the body of the letter. Maintain a professional tone throughout. Closing: End the letter with a closing salutation (e.g., “Sincerely,” “Yours faithfully,” etc.). Signature: Sign the letter with your name (in block letters) and designation. Remember, formal letters can be delivered through email as well, depending on the urgency and preferences of the sender and receiver.
