What is meditation? Different people
think differently about this. Most of the people relate this with religion or
spiritualism. Means if you are doing meditation, then either you are a religious
person or you follow spiritualism. Youth make fun of it. They think it as an
elderly people’s work.
But actually it is a vision. Vision towards
our life. Vision towards our work. Vision towards our success and failure. It is
not just sitting idle and closing your eyes. When I started meditation, I did
the same. And felt that nothing was happening. Nothing changed. But when I moved
on, I saw that my thought process was becoming slow, my anxiety level was going
down and I was becoming more positive.
One more thing which I want to add
here is that it is not a destination. It is a journey, a process. It is not an
achievement. It is not an end of the problem. It is, how we see towards the
problem, how we react towards the problem.
Have you ever seen a quiet and
peaceful river flowing. Whenever a stone is thrown on it, its water vibrates for some time. But after some time, it again flows with same peacefulness.
Meditation brings that change in your life.
