What do you think about beauty? How can you describe it?

I often think to write about beauty. But is it really any word to describe it. May it be the beauty of nature or the cute innocent face of a child. If you are able to say even a single word about the beauty, it’s not a beauty; it’s only a thing of beauty. Beauty in my sense is speechless. It’s only a feeling; it’s like asking the taste of jaggery to a dumb person. Whenever you see a beautiful rose, or the falling of water from a waterfall, why do you get mesmerized? Is it the rose who says ‘I am beautiful’? It’s your inner feeling. You are always in a state of pull between the past and future. Whenever you see a thing of beauty, you become thoughtless, completely in present. That makes you happy.

Same thing can be beautiful for one person, but it may not be appealing for the other. Falling of leaves in the jungle may be beautiful for me, but it may be only the garbage for other. That’s why it is always said, beauty lies in the eye. If you go to the terrace of your house, you may enjoy the   flying and chirping of the birds. But some people are there who keeps these birds in cages and happy to see their movements.

‘A thing of beauty is a joy forever’. So, for the next time whenever you see a  thing of beauty, just say, “WHAT A BEAUTY!”
